FAQ
- Q: Will it come to PCVR?
A: Yes! Wishlist on Steam here: Loop One: Done on Steam - Q: The game doesn't start
A: Make sure to update your headset (it is tested on v78 and newer) and/or restart your headset. - Q: I'm stuck on "Loading scene data"
A: Try close the game and create a new room scan by going to Settings > Environment Setup > Space Setup. You might also need to approve the usage of Scene Data if you denied it at launch the first time. You can find it in Settings > Privacy & safety > App permissions > Spatial data, and tick Loop One: Done. - Q: Can I save my factory?
A: You have multiple save slots for different factories. Each factory is tied to a room scan, so you can play and come back months later and everything should still be where you left it. If you re-scan your room, the game will ask you to reposition your factory. It takes only a couple of seconds. You can also recover backups if you login to your Meta account here: Meta Cloud Backups. - Q: My factory is rotated / has moved
If you start a new save slot when it's very dark, the headset might get confused and return wrong data, resulting in your save file might become rotated or move a bit. So make sure you play in a room with some lights in it. It doesn't need to be super bright, but the more light, the better tracking. If it's only offseted a bit, there is a offset tool in the in-game settings. Same function as when you re-scan your room. - Q: Can I play it on X?
A: Currently it only works in MR and has been tested on Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro and Quest 3S. But I'm planning on adding a VR mode and port it to more headsets. - Q: Does it have multiplayer?
A: Short answer: No. But I would really love to, and I've tried building for a future where that could happen.
